treating cases of malaria is based on the concept of combination therapy since this offers several
advantages which include

  • That enhanced convenience
  • And reduced side-effects.

Most effectively parasitological confirmation by microscopy, or and it can alternatively be produced
by rapid diagnostic tests, which is recommended in all patients suspected of malaria before treatment
is started. Antimalarial medication treatment focus on the basis of clinical suspicion should only be
considered when a parasitological when the diagnosis is not accessible. There are some antimalarial
medication that explains below-
1.Bulaquine-  Bulaquine comes under the category of antimalarial medications use for curing of
malaria disease. Bulaquine is the only drug available for use as anti-relapse, antimalarial for
prophylactic malaria symptoms. It able to change the health disorder of the body and decrease the
platelets count in the body. However, this drug causes many side effects and the most common side
effect is methemoglobinemia in patients because of the deficiency of  G6PD.

2.Chloroquine- Chloroquine in antimalarial medication work by interacting by concentration within
the food vacuoles of the parasite and raises its pH value. This medicine is found to induce rapid
clumping of the pigment. Chloroquine produces the parasitic enzyme heme polymerase that converts
the toxic heme into non-toxic hemozoin, and that is the reason accumulation of toxic heme within the
parasite.
